Use mild and anti-bacterial facial cleanser to wash  your face and eliminate all sorts of oil and debris from your skin. Use a mild toner and apply non-oily moisturizer to hydrate your face. Do not use heavy and thick moisturizer as this can invite more oil and sebum on skin.

Use lemon juice to dry out acne

We all know that vitamin C is found in lemon which is very good for your skin.  Rich in alpha hydroxy acids, It has skin bleaching and anti-bacterial properties which can help to dry up pimple and fade pimple marks fast. Take out the juice of a lemon in a bowl and dab this mixture all over your face and leave it on overnight. Those with sensitive skin can dilute the lemon juice by mixing equal amount of rose water in it and then apply this on face. Follow this home remedy continuously for 2 weeks and you will see a noticeable reduction in pimple and pimple marks.

Turmeric and rose water

Turmeric is an ancient home remedy to treat pimple and skin irritations. You can easily use turmeric on your face to get rid of pimple during pregnancy. Just take half spoon of turmeric with few spoons of rose water and smear this paste on your pimple and its marks and leave it on your skin for one hour. Then wash off. Do it once a day for 15 days and you will see noticeable results. This home remedy is so easy and fuss- free which your can try without much effort.

Apple cider vinegar

You can soak  a cotton in apple cider vinegar and then keep this cotton on your pimple for few minutes and then wash off after 1 hour. You can even make a pimple-control toner with 1 part of apple cider vinegar and  3 parts of distilled water and use this toner after cleansing your face daily.

Aloe vera gel

Just extract aloe vera gel from its plant and apply its succulent gel on your face and leave it on overnight to heal the pimple and its marks fast. Aloe vera has cooling and soothing properties which can treat tanning and even stretch marks during pregnancy.

Witch hazel

Keep a cotton pad in witch hazel and keep this on your pimples for one hour. Witch hazel is natural astringent which maintains the natural PH balance of your skin and controls oil production. As a result pores are not clogged by extra oil and sebum counteracting the chance of developing pimples. Use this recipe twice a day to get results fast.

Baking soda

Baking soda is a mind exfoliating agent which has anti-bacterial properties. You can make a spot treatment with baking soda and water for removal of pimple right away. Mix half spoon of baking  soda with some water and apply this thick paste on pimple spot only excluding whole face. Wash off after 45 minutes.

Some practice for steering clear of acne during pregnancy

Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated and stay away from caffeine and artificial energy drinks.

Do not ever prick or scratch your pimples otherwise they will leave permanent scars.

Avoid touching your face too much as it can lead to acne-causing bacteria transferring through your  hands.

Change your pillow, bed sheets and towel everyday.

Include lots of citrus fruits, leafy greens, avocado and nuts in your diet. Avoid eating oily foods and sugar.

Always remove all sorts of make up before going to bed. .

Always consult  your doctor before using any cosmetic preparations during pregnancy as some cosmetics are rich in salicyclic acid and vitamin A which may not be safe during pregnancy.

Take proper rest as too much of fatigue can also result in pimples during pregnancy.
