Carrier oil, in the recent years, has been taking the beauty and wellness industry by storm. It has health, beauty, skin and hair benefits and its goodness ranges from skin rejuvenating to regeneration of cells, skin depigmentation to hydration, from promoting hair growth to maintaining hair health, and much more. Carrier oils are basically vegetable oils that are cold pressed from the fatty parts of some specific plants, especially its seeds, kernels or nuts. Every carrier oil has its own medicinal and therapeutic properties. It is often used as neutralizing or diluting oil with essential oils.

Rose oil

Evening Primrose Oil

Evening primrose oil is known for its medicinal and therapeutic properties. The seeds of evening primrose are cold pressed to extract the oil.     This is a wonderful article. I never heard of putting coconut oil and jojoba and argan oil on your skin and in your hair. I need to try that. Sounds great. Thanks for the tip on how to use this product.

    Well-researched article. I like coconut oil for my skin and the ends of my hair. Even though it's an oil, it doesn't seem to leave too much residue like many other oils. Thanks for the tips!

      Thanks for going through my article. I second with you that there is no match for coconut oil. You should also try jojoba and argan oil as they are just superb on the skin. And about olive oil, though it is a little greasy, it keeps your skin hydrated during the winters when the skin become extremely dry.Use it with an essential oil of your choice to elevate your mood and get rid of stress.

    Almond and olive oils are my favorite hair oils which I use. Some oils are not even good that make our scalp skin rough and dry.

      Yes. both almond and olive oils work wonders on the hair. You can also apply them in your skin, either directly or with an essential oil of your choice like lavender, chamomile or tea tree oil. Jojoba and coconut are great on the skin as well.
